Reporting - Trace
Exporting Asset and Observation data for further analysis
Background
Many of the grid-based pages can have the data that is currently on the screen (across pagination) exported to a spreadsheet to allow the user to conduct further analysis.
Steps
- Navigate to Reports -> Trace Report
- Select Asset (s)
- Set the "to" date
- You can type in date -> <two digit day> <3 letter month> <4 digit year>, example:
- 23 Nov 2023
- You can click on the field and it will have a widget to help select the date.
- Shortcut - click on the month or arrows at the top
- Shortcut - click on the year or arrows at the top
- You can type in date -> <two digit day> <3 letter month> <4 digit year>, example:
- Set the "to" time
- You can type in the time -> <2 digit hour>:<2 digit minute> <am/pm), example:
- 11:35 am
- You can click on the field and it will have a widget to help select the time
- You can type in the time -> <2 digit hour>:<2 digit minute> <am/pm), example:
- Set the "from" date and time
- Click on "Export to Excel"
- The longer the duration of time, the more Assets chosen, the longer it will take to generate this report.
- Open the file - it will be located in the "downloads' directory configured in the browser.
- The name of the file is "Observations Tracing Report - <date>.xlsx" - for example:
