How does Troverlo receive passive global observations?
Troverlo has created a Global Observation Network through partnerships with many of the companies who collect Wi-Fi scan data to retrieve data on Troverlo compatible Asset Tag.
Every computer, tablet, and phone constantly scans for Wi-Fi Access Points to potentially connect with. These devices push the Wi-Fi data along with their location to the Cloud via their telecom provider, phone manufacturer, OS provider, or dozens of applications they have installed and use.
Troverlo has created a Global Observation Network through partnerships with many of these companies to retrieve data on Troverlo compatible Asset Tags. When Troverlo receives this information, the Troverlo Platform matches Tag observations to the asset they are attached to. This delivers quality data to our customers answering questions like:
- Where is the Asset now?
Tracking – get last observation details - Where has the Asset been?
Tracing – see observation details over time - What is or has been the Asset's condition?
Sensor data – monitor or set alerts on the output of the sensor(s)
